JBS Foods Louisville is seeking a 3rd shift refrigeration technician to troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems. You will perform day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation.

Responsibilities include labeling and tagging of systems, verifications, and supporting plant equipment while upholding safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test.
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry

environment preferred

• Basic computer skills necessary
• PLC knowledge preferred
• Physical demands: Climbing ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools
• Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
• Position requires a background check and drug test
• Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions
• Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties
