Job summary

Tyson Foods, Forest complex, is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance technician for the 3rd shift. The starter role focuses on cleaning and maintaining ammonia refrigeration air units and roof-mounted HVAC/MAUs, with shadowing to learn operations and future Refrigeration Tech positions.

You will create maintenance notifications and work orders, enter time into SAP, and perform related duties. Must handle hot/cold/wet environments, pass safety tests, and be able to lift 40 lbs+.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience within the past 2 years.
• Must be able to work in hot/cold/wet environments.
• Must pass Level 4 pulmonary function test and annual recertification.
• Clean shaven for proper APR/SCBA fit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs on the roof.
• Change filters and clean roof area.
• Shadow Refrigeration Techs to learn ammonia refrigeration system.
• Create maintenance notifications and work orders in SAP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
