Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis seeks a Refrigeration Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires HVAC/R training or equivalent experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and the ability to work with BAS and building controls. Training may occur on a different shift.

Qualifications

• 18 months Air Conditioning-Refrigeration school or 24 months’ experience.
• EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification tests up to Type III or Universal.
• MN Power Limited Tech License within 3.5 years.
• Ability to use computers and BAS systems.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration issues and perform repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team to complete service requests.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep work area organized.
