Job summary

Apex Consumer Products is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily production, ensure schedule adherence, and uphold safety and quality standards.

In this 9-hour shift role, you will lead 5–25 hourly workers, drive lean initiatives, and maintain 5-S and standard work while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage changeovers quickly are essential to keep lines running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of production lead/supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and batch processing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing field.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily production to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Conduct daily production meeting to communicate goals.
• Identify and address bottlenecks to ensure continuous line operation.
• Maintain 5-S and lean tools in the department.
• Ensure efficient line changeovers and 100% run-readiness.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
