Job summary

VDFCP - R.J. Van Drunen & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) to oversee plant operations.

You will work closely with the Production Manager, Inventory Control, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality to keep lines efficient and compliant with HAACP and GMP standards. Qualifications include 1+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in a food manufacturing/automation environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Problem-solver with good judgement; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee production operations on the designated shift and ensure production goals are met.
• Manage activities to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and provide feedback on deviations.
• Promote workplace safety and lead safety discussions and training.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure proper procedures and documentation.
