Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in the United States to maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring a safe work environment. You will supervise staffing, line maintenance, and USDA inspection readiness to uphold our standards.

You’ll lead the team in shift starts, rotate workstations, and train staff on benefits, policy, and performance expectations, with opportunities for growth within the Prepared Foods Division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; vocational or college courses preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Some travel may be required to other facilities or corporate.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, retain, and counsel team members on benefits, compensation, and policies.
• Lead stretch routines before shifts and rotate workstations during production.
• Check daily production orders to fulfill customer demands and maintain records.
• Ensure all line workstations are staffed and machinery runs properly.
• Maintain USDA inspection readiness and promote daily safety.
• Oversee operations and collaborate with other supervisors to resolve issues.
• Provide ongoing education on quality and perform additional duties as needed.
