Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Cleveland, MS is seeking a Technologist to join a world-class team focused on maintaining and improving critical equipment. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure high quality and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree preferred, and about 5 years in mechanical systems repair or industrial

Competenze

High School graduate or GED.
Associate degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance.
Understanding and application of predictive maintenance tools.
Ability to drive and guide repair of equipment alongside team members.

Mansioni

Coordinate with Engineering to perform equipment modifications as needed.
Generate and refine Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.
Analyze machine failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Assist in annual equipment inspections.
Monitor parts spending and reliability trends to optimize performance.
Apply a laptop to communicate with PLCs, VFDs, Panelviews, and Servos for diagnosing issues.
Use diagnostic tools such as drawing packages and multi-meters to resolve electrical issues.
Diagnose mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues.
Develop standard work procedures for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers.
Serve as a SME for maintenance-related guidelines and processes.
Procure estimates for tasks and projects and order necessary parts.
Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and equipment suppliers for new equipment installations.
Work around moving equipment safely and effectively.
Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP.
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues occur.
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
