Job summary

Baxter is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Skaneateles Falls, NY. The role performs routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs equipment, and supports manufacturing operations with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to reduce downtime and improve processes. A high school diploma and hands-on maintenance experience are required, with OSHA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or electronic equipment.
• OSHA certification required or obtainable as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, changing filters, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and repair to keep production running.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify issues and take corrective action.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and equipment performance records.
• Repair or replace components and verify repairs are completed safely.
• Install new equipment and ensure it operates properly before use.
• Calibrate equipment to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and in compliance with quality standards.
• Work with production teams to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Train production employees on proper operation and basic maintenance procedures.
