Job summary

GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA is seeking an Engine Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for 3rd shift to provide on-shift engineering support, resolve shop-floor issues, and ensure operations meet quality, safety and delivery targets.

You will work with assemblers, technicians and quality teams, apply drawings and specifications, drive process improvements, and support lean initiatives while balancing immediate production needs with long-term process discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required; alternative with 4+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, torque tools, and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily manufacturing engineering support for engine assembly on 3rd shift.
• Resolve technical issues, tooling problems, nonconformances, and build interruptions.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, and torque requirements to ensure correct assembly.
