Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Generator Final Assembly 2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer to support the off-shifts with technical problem solving. The role requires self-motivation, clear communication across shifts, and the ability to work without face-to-face interaction.

Responsibilities include developing work instructions, tooling maintenance planning, and documenting build processes. Onsite 2nd shift; potential 3rd shift support may occur.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with 2 years manufacturing leadership experience OR
• 2-year technical degree with 6+ years manufacturing leadership/technical experience OR
• HS diploma/GED with 8+ years manufacturing leadership/technical experience OR
• 6 years military experience in a technical/relatable role

Responsibilities

• Create and update work instructions.
• Purchase and plan maintenance of shop tooling.
• Analyze part drawings and technical process specifications.
• Create shop build documentation.
• Communicate technical processes with salary and hourly employees.
