Job summary

GE Aerospace in Terre Haute is seeking a skilled assembler for a 3rd shift position. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot assembly tools, read complex drawings, and inspect parts with precision to ensure conformance to specifications.

You will contribute to LEAN processes, maintain 6S standards, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals while benefiting from healthcare on day one and relocation assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to identify and use power and hand tools.
• Read and follow detailed procedures and build plans.
• Perform precise and detailed work.
• Communicate effectively within a team.
• Adhere to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble details on parts using various tools and follow build plans.
• Work from complex drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality.
• Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot tools and equipment.
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.
• Maintain accurate work records and document quality checks.
• Support team concepts and be willing to learn other duties as needed.
• Maintain 6S and tool control standards.
• Be flexible to work outside normal hours to meet assembly needs.
