Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Engine Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to provide on-shift manufacturing engineering support for 3rd shift engine assembly operations. You will work with assemblers, technicians, quality, and support teams to resolve shop-floor issues and ensure work meets engineering requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily manufacturing engineering support for engine assembly on 3rd shift.
• Resolve technical issues, process constraints, tooling issues, nonconformances, and build interruptions.
• Troubleshoot problems with shop floor teams and implement practical solutions.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, process sheets, torque requirements, fits/clearances, and sequencing.
