Job summary

Crayola is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (11:45PM-7:45AM) to ensure reliable machine performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will perform preventative and demand maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical equipment, and support capital projects and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in electromechanical maintenance, and experience with CMMS and robotics.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; Technical Associate’s degree preferred.
3+ years of electromechanical maintenance in high-volume manufacturing.
Experience with PM/DM, CMMS, and capital project involvement.
Experience with motors, pumps, robotics, control systems.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) on a wide variety of production equipment; plan PM tasks around production.
Performs Demand Maintenance (DM) as needed to address downtime or quality issues.
Uses CMMS to track time and parts; requests replacement parts and recommends stock levels.
Participates in development/installation of capital projects and equipment modifications.
Supports continuous improvement through cross-functional teams and operator training.
Communicates performance issues across shifts in verbal/written form.
Maintains clean, safe work area and may train apprentices.
Complies with Hazardous Waste regulations and Crayola safety procedures.
