Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an EHS Sr. Specialist for the third shift in Raritan, NJ, to support EHS programs at our GMP cell therapy facility. This hands-on role drives EHS culture, regulatory compliance, and site programs across production, labs, warehouse, and maintenance. You will lead inspections, incident investigations, trainings, and KPI reporting while collaborating with Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or equivalent experience/certification.
• 5–7 years relevant EHS experience, GMP/manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, DEP and related standards; NIOSH/ACGIH guidance is a plus.
• OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens familiarity and biosafety concepts advised.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and regulatory support for chemical handling, biosafety, and waste management.
• Represent EHS in site Tier meetings and drive closure of corrective actions.
• Conduct inspections in cleanroom, warehouse, and lab environments; assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS trainings (ILT/CBT) for diverse audiences and support injury management.
• Monitor KPIs and dashboards; maintain EHS records and ensure safe work practices.
