Legend Biotech is seeking an EHS Sr. Specialist for the 3rd shift at our Raritan, NJ facility.

This exempt role supports the EHS programs within a commercial sterile GMP cell therapy manufacturing environment and collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Quality to drive safety culture and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of EHS experience in GMP/manufacturing, knowledge of OSHA/Biosafety, and strong communication skills to deliver training, perform

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Studies or Life Sciences; BA/BS preferred.
• 5–7 years of EHS experience, GMP/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and guidance.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/regulatory support for chemical handling, biosafety, and waste management.
• Represent EHS in site Tier meetings and drive closure of corrective actions.
• Conduct EHS inspections in cleanrooms, warehouses, and labs; track and report findings.
• Perform incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and toolbox talks; support injury management programs.
• Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and near-miss reporting; maintain EHS records.
