Job summary

Foot Locker is hiring for an Equipment Operator in Sparks, NV. You will safely operate distribution center equipment such as order pickers and reach trucks, perform inspections, and ensure safe, efficient pallet movement.

The role includes a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm) and seasonal terms up to 90 days with potential extension based on performance. Minimum experience is 6+ months in equipment operation, with basic English comprehension for safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of previous equipment operations experience.
• Ability to read, write, operate RF and Print and Apply printing device, conduct business-related mathematics, and analyze data as required.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions and communicate in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center, including order picker, cherry picker, swing reach truck, reach truck, and any other machines as needed.
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift and at full capacity, reporting damages or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Operate heavy equipment and maneuver around corners, staging areas, and pedestrian traffic in a safe manner.
• Perform routine inspections and refer defects to maintenance; clean equipment.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and report problems to supervisors.
