Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Morrisville, NC is seeking a reliable 3rd Shift Concierge to keep our senior living community secure and welcoming overnight. You’ll monitor operations, handle tasks to keep the community tidy, respond to emergencies, and ensure a great day ahead for residents and guests.

The role requires punctuality, strong communication, and flexibility to cover Thursday through Monday nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness across community spaces and prep for the day ahead.
• Monitor resident call systems and respond to emergencies calmly and quickly.
• Support safety by monitoring building systems and following emergency protocols.
• Provide administrative support: handle room-service requests, sell meal tickets, schedule transportation, and maintain records.
• Assist with event setup and responsible alcohol service during gatherings.
• Greet residents and guests, answer calls professionally, and offer valet services as needed.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean drivingrecord;able to valet park vehicles safely.
• Able to work Thursday-Monday11:00pmto 7:30amwhile staying present and alert for the entire shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Previouscustomer service experience, professional appearance, excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities; willing toassistin various areas.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach and attention to detail; reliable in completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Knowledge of the local community,preferred.
• Intermediateproficiencyin Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and staff.
• Must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanlinessthroughout the community. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, operating the floor scrubber, maintaining the indoor pond, refreshing restrooms and the bistro, sanitizing high‑touch surfaces, rolling silverware, emptying waste baskets, dusting, replenishing ice, cleaning the coffee and ice cream machines, caring for the salad bar, and ensuring all shared spaces and furnishings are tidy, stocked, andready for the day ahead.
• Respond calmly and quickly to emergencies,monitorresident call systems, and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Support community safety by monitoring building systems(including fire alarms), following emergency protocols, and guiding residents during fires or severe weather events.
• Assistwith administrative supportbytaking room‑service requests, selling meal tickets, distributing menus, completing porch drops, scheduling transportation, andmaintainingorganized records.
• Support community operationsby walking the community, proactivelynoticingand reporting concerns,assistingwith event setup, and providing responsible alcohol service during gatherings.
• Create memorable first impressionsbygreeting residents, families, and guests, answering calls with professionalism,anticipatingneeds before they arise, andoffering courteous valet services to residents and visitors.
• Welcome new residentsby introducing yourself whenever youseethem.
