Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Florida is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead servers during meals and shape an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.

As a valued member of the community leadership team, you’ll contribute to culture, operations, and resident satisfaction by training staff, ensuring cleanliness, and coordinating events.

This full-time role requires flexibility, ServSafe certification, and basic MS Office skills to support scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in service leadership preferred.
• Basic MS Office skills required (Excel and Outlook).
• ServSafe Manager certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Food handlers permit as required by local ordinances or obtain within two weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard servers with Community Managers and Executive Chef; train and coach the team.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, organization, and sanitation per guidelines.
• Lead dining service quality and welcome new residents following orientation.
• Participate in community leadership meetings and plan events with the team.

About the Role

As our Dining Room Supervisor, you will be an active lead server during meal periods and will play a pivotal role in shaping an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guests. As a valued team member of the community leadership team, you’ll actively contribute to the overall culture, operations, and resident experience, ensuring that every meal is more than just food on a plate; it’s a moment of meaningful connection.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Flexibility: your primary schedule will be Monday-Friday 11:00am to 7:30pm, however, additional hours to assist with events and holidays will be required.
• Previous service leadership experience is desired.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required (Excel and Outlook).
• ServSafe Manager food safety certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Food Handlers permit as required by local ordinances or obtain within two (2) weeks of hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard Servers in coordination with Community Managers and/or Executive Chef; provide training and ongoing coaching, support development and growth of Server team, while ensuring schedules align with RLC Labor Model.
• Ensure dining room cleanliness, organization, and systems are consistent per the RLC Operations Guide; monitor, stock and clean the Chef’s Pantry and Bistro to maintain freshness, sanitation and excellent presentation; assign cleaning responsibilities and supporting tasks to Servers.
• Lead and monitor dining service quality to guarantee resident and guest satisfaction; personally welcome new residents following the RLC Orientation process; and ensure prompt retrieval of room service trays.
• Participate in community leadership meetings and collaborate with the team to address resident needs, plan upcoming events, and support overall business objectives.
