Tecomet in Indiana is seeking a CNC Machinist I for the 3rd shift to produce machined parts by operating a CNC machine, following drawings and work instructions. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the company’s standards.

The successful candidate will perform tool changes, take measurements, maintain equipment, and document activities to meet daily production targets and quality requirements.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment (E/D).
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only).
• Ability to operate and maintain a CNC machine.
• Solid math skills and ability to keep records.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances per instructions and drawings.
• Change dull tooling and adjust as needed for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and inspection reports.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Identify and report Safety/Environmental issues.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities.
