Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Labor, Bakery- Production for its Swedesboro, NJ facility. This role focuses on proper dough and baked product formation, ensuring safe, efficient production, and high sanitation standards on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work (lifting up to 50 lbs., with assistance up to 100 lbs.).
• Ability to work in environments with temperature changes, flour dust, and moderate to loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas including proofer, oven, and packing stations to meet GMP and safety standards.
• Monitor production line equipment and notify leadership of any performance issues.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or potential mechanical failures promptly.
• Support product quality and food safety standards by identifying and escalating contamination risks or irregularities.
• Follow standard operating procedures, GMPs, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including centerline management, CIL, and root cause analysis activities.
• Conduct routine area walkthroughs to identify defects, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
