Job summary

Aspire Bakeries in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery – Relief to help ensure full production line coverage and maintain product quality during daily operations.

The role requires basic dough equipment knowledge, data documentation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work on the 3rd shift, supporting multiple processes and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ingredient Operator or related role.
• Basic knowledge of dough mixing and production equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret scale and temperature measurements.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance up to 100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure production line positions (mixing, sheeting, oven, packing) are properly covered during breaks and absences.
• Operate and support multiple bakery processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Follow Aspire SOPs, equipment manuals, and standard work procedures.
• Collaborate with Operators and Leads to optimize line performance.
• Identify issues through daily area walks and support waste reduction efforts.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (AOE).
• Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
