Lewis Bakeries, Inc. seeks 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians for the Evansville, IN plant.

The role ensures continuous safe operation of production machinery and facility infrastructure, with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years maintenance experience, and familiarity with OSHA and food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and troubleshooting equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and food safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to work 3rd shift and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond to line stoppage calls and provide timely repairs.
• Conduct OSHA oven safety inspections as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in the maintenance shop.
