Job summary

The Krusteaz Company in Effingham, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have broad mechanical, electrical and PLC aptitude to reduce downtime and improve the production process.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, performing metal fabrication, plumbing, pneumatic and millwright tasks, and maintaining equipment reliability. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; food-manufacturing experience is a plus and familiarity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food manufacturing experience is desired.
• Exposure to PLC, SLC 500/PLC5/RS Logics/Device Net preferred.
• Exposure to AC and DC motors, VFD and VSD drive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production by bringing equipment to base condition via Industrial Maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints, fabricate metal, perform plumbing, pneumatic and millwright tasks.
• Collaborate with production staff to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, operate maintenance software and handheld devices; document activities.
