Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to setup, install, and maintain electrical control systems on packaging and manufacturing lines in Rockford, IL. The role covers PLCs, servo drives, vision systems, and robotics with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

The candidate will diagnose electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, read diagrams, and use AutoCAD for equipment drawings. Overtime is possible and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field or apprenticeship/training.
• Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with PLCs, servo drives, and vision systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, and maintain electrical control systems across manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servo drives, sensors, and related hardware.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with installation of automation systems.
