Job summary

Alfa Laval is hiring for a 3rd shift assembler in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on accurate assembly, recording daily production, and maintaining quality in manufacturing processes. You will contribute to continuous improvements and follow ALPS standards, working with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in manufacturing, ability to read blueprints, and basic computer skills. Forklift or crane certification is a plus, with physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs and

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with relevant experience.
Forklift and crane certifications are a plus.
2–3 years of manufacturing experience.
Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders.
Intermediate computer skills.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, climb, stand, and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct the assembly and value adding of parts.
Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
Secure accurate daily assembly production records.
Execute production work according to ALPS standards and participate in continuous improvements.
