Job summary

Alfa Laval, a global leader in energy, water and shipping technologies, is seeking an onsite Assembly Technician in Richmond, VA. You will perform assembly and value adding of parts, monitor quality, and maintain accurate daily production records.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED with relevant manufacturing experience, read drawings, and possess strong communication skills. 3rd shift hours are 10:00 pm to 6:30 am with a $1 shift differential.

Qualifications

• You have a High School degree or GED with relevant experience.
• Crane or forklift certifications are a plus.
• 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment with machinery and tools.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• As an integral team member, perform assembly and value adding of parts.
• Monitor output quality and identify defective items for rework or discard.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records.
• Participate in continuous improvements and follow ALPS standards.
