Job summary

Skylight is seeking a hands-on 3PL Manager in the United States to own relationships with warehouse partners for retail, DTC, and wholesale. You will drive performance, enforce SLAs, and ensure inventory accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehouse or supply chain ops, 3+ years managing multi-site 3PLs, and experience with NetSuite and WMS. You will build scorecards, run RFPs, and lead onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, or supply chain ops, with 3+ years managing 3PL vendor relationships.
• Experience managing multi-site 3PL performance with scorecards and business reviews.
• Experience reading/enforcing a 3PL agreement: SLAs, rate cards, liability, insurance terms.
• Experience reconciling WMS inventory to an ERP.
• Experience auditing 3PL invoices and recovering overbilling or claims.
• Proficiency using warehouse management systems.
• Advanced analytical skills (Google Sheets) and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day and strategic relationship with each 3PL partner, including reviews and escalation.
• Build and run a 3PL scorecard: ship-same-day %, cycle times, inventory accuracy, costs.
• Audit invoices against rate cards and contract; manage claims for missing inventory and missed SLAs.
• Own inventory accuracy between 3PL WMS and NetSuite: cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Lead site onboarding and transitions: cutover plans, inventory transfers, go-live readiness.
• Run 3PL RFPs end to end: scope, bid analysis, site visits, total-cost modeling.
• Own international 3PL network and work with forwarders and customs brokers.
• Lead value-added service programs (relabeling, kitting, etc.) including SOPs and pricing.
• Run capacity and peak planning with each partner; coordinate with planning teams.
• Collaborate with Retail Logistics on labels and routing guides.
