Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking an Applications Engineer within Technology Solutions Sales to support consultative sales efforts for leading IC design and packaging customers in the US. You will deliver technical presentations, run product demonstrations and benchmarks, and help architect flows and scripts to connect tools into a solutions portfolio.

The role requires 4+ years in IC design or packaging, proficiency with Cadence/Siemens tools, scripting in Python/Tcl, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Requires MSEE/BSEE with 4+ years design experience in IC package/layout.
• Experience with IC package/interposer design tools and data formats is expected.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux is required; scripting ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
• Benchmark and validate solutions; participate in solution architecture and flows.
• Develop integration scripts to link tools into Siemens EDA solutions; support world-wide accounts.
