Job summary

EAC Product Development Solutions in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Field Service Technician to serve as on-site hardware specialist for our 3D printing portfolio. You will perform preventative maintenance, break-fix repairs, and hands-on training during customer visits.

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and willingness to travel across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Base salary is $60K with up to 5% bonus, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• 2+ years of relevant technical or field service experience preferred.
• Experience with Additive Manufacturing industry.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot 3D printing hardware issues via phone and email for customers and partners.
• Perform on-site diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and break-fix repairs.
• Travel to customer locations to deliver services.
• Provide in-person onboarding and training for Premium Hardware Service customers.
• Maintain professionalism and customer experience during on-site interactions.
• Document service activities and on-site visits.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Fulfillment, and Sustaining Engineering teams to resolve issues.
