Job summary

Micron Technology invites a 3D DRAM Wet Process Engineering Intern to join the team in Boise. You will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor process development while collaborating with experienced engineers on technology initiatives.

You will analyze data, perform root-cause investigations, and contribute to improvements with a dedicated project culminating in a final presentation of findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Current Master's or Ph.D. student in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field; must not graduate before September 2027.
• Demonstrated experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with root-cause analysis or model-based methods.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize wet process technologies to meet product performance requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-functional process and equipment teams to implement improvements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and failure investigations to resolve constraints and improve yield.
• Analyze experimental and manufacturing data using statistical methods to guide decisions.
• Apply AI and data-driven approaches to enhance process analysis and engineering productivity.
