Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a 3D DRAM Photolithography Process Development Intern in Boise, Idaho. The role offers hands-on semiconductor process development under experienced engineers, focusing on photolithography for next-generation memory technologies and AI-augmented data analysis.

You will collaborate across process and equipment teams, perform statistical analyses on pilot data, and present results to technical and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Must be enrolled as a student and not graduate before September 2027.
• Demonstrated experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific or engineering research methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage numerous projects, priorities, and work in a research and development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize photolithography processes that meet product requirements for physical and electrical performance.
• Partner with multi-functional process and equipment teams to find opportunities for process improvements and technology advancement.
• Conduct root-cause and failure-mode analyses to identify process limitations and implement corrective actions.
• Perform statistical analysis of pilot manufacturing and technology development data to support process optimization and decision-making.
• Research and develop innovative solutions for next-generation memory technologies, including Applying Artificial Intelligence and data-driven methods where appropriate to improve engineering efficiency and project outcomes.
