Job summary

World Racing Group in Concord, NC is seeking a motivated HR Intern to support our Human Resources team across onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, recruiting, and daily administrative operations.

You'll work closely with the HR Manager on day-to-day HR tasks, contribute to ongoing projects, and gain hands-on experience in HR systems, compliance, reporting, and employee communications while balancing school commitments with a flexible 3-4 day per week schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support employee file maintenance and HR recordkeeping
• Help manage HR communications and employee inquiries
• Assist with benefits administration and enrollment activities
• Support payroll and HRIS-related processes
• Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and organizational data
• Conduct research and gather information to support HR initiatives
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department
• Participate in special projects as assigned
