Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corporation is seeking an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience across Learning & Development, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and HR Operations in a fast-paced environment.

You are a current junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Human Resources or a related program, and you will assist with training sessions, onboarding materials, benefits inquiries, HR data entry, and process improvements while developing professional skills and contributing to meaningful HR

Qualifications

• Current Juniors or Seniors pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related program
• Positive attitude, team player, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist in Learning & Development: virtual training sessions and eLearning enrollments
• Track and summarize training feedback surveys
• Track and report completion data in the LMS
• Prepare onboarding materials and welcome kits
• Support new hire orientation sessions
• Ensure completion of onboarding documentation and compliance requirements
• Assist with benefits enrollment and employee inquiries
• Help maintain accurate benefits records
• Support wellness initiatives and communications
• Maintain employee files and HR databases
• Assist with reporting and data analysis
• Support process improvement projects and HR audits

Responsibilities

Learning & Development

• Assist in manager virtual training sessions and eLearning enrollments.
• Send, collect and summarize training feedback surveys to support continuous improvement.
• Track and report completion data in the LMS for course rollouts.
• Complete or update job aids to support employee learning and performance.

Employee Onboarding/Engagement

• Prepare onboarding materials and welcome kits.
• Support new hire orientation sessions.
• Ensure completion of onboarding documentation and compliance requirements.
• New Hire Check Ins

Benefits Administration

• Assist with benefits enrollment and employee inquiries.
• Help maintain accurate benefits records.

HR Operations
