Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) is seeking a Personal Service Coordinator to engage and support individuals in Housing Supportive Service Programs. The role emphasizes intensive case management, housing access advocacy, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles.

The position offers a 35-hour workweek, competitive salary of $24.00 per hour, and a full benefits package including an employee assistance program and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a human-related field preferred.
• Experience with psychosocial rehab services is required.
• Knowledge of harm reduction and motivational interviewing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outreach and enroll new members for the program.
• Develop Recovery/Personal Service Plans with members.
• Mediate and advocate for housing and benefits.
• Visit and transport members as needed.
• Provide coaching on living skills and community integration.
• Document program activities within required timelines.
