Job summary

Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) is seeking a Part-Time Personal Service Coordinator to support homeless individuals with housing and mental health services in the Lancaster area of California. The role is 15-20 hours per week at $24.00 per hour and requires field-based outreach with transportation responsibilities.

Responsibilities include street outreach, case management, developing recovery plans, and linking members to independent housing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum one year of outreach psychosocial rehab related services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for more advanced responsibilities.
• Bi-lingual applicants preferred to support diverse clients.
• Ability to provide field-based services in the community and in clients' homes.
• CPR and basic first aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within an integrated mobile team to provide street outreach and case management.
• Develop and complete recovery plans with members and link to housing resources.
• Provide transportation to services and accompany clients on public transit.
• Conduct life skills and housing access activities and advocate for patient needs.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with documentation and billing timelines.
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings and trainings.
