Job summary

Primary Health Care (PHC) in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support the Corporate Compliance Program and 340B activities across in-house and contract pharmacies.

You will conduct monthly audits, ensure adherence to federal requirements, and develop training and reporting that helps PHC manage 340B program integrity and cost savings. A bachelor's degree and 2 years of health care compliance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health-related field.
• Minimum 2 years in health care compliance and auditing with 340B or contract review.
• Experience in Community Health Center setting.
• 340B Certification to be completed within first year.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day activities of Corporate Compliance Program.
• Oversee 340B-related activities for in-house and contract pharmacies.
• Audit 340B compliance and prepare monthly reports.
• Maintain 340B policies and train staff as needed.
• Collaborate with PHC departments and Compliance Committee on metrics.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, accounting, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2 years’ experience in health care compliance and auditing, 340B or other relevant experience

Community Health Center experience

340B Certification to be completed within the first year

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Team orientation

Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office
