IMP in Lakeland, FL is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead over 20 team members across departments, ensuring safety, quality and production goals are met in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, operate plasma cutters and welding machines, and perform precise measurements with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. A minimum of 3 years in leadership and welding is required, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Competenze

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in leadership.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with welding and fitting.
• Familiarity with machining processes for metal fabrication.
• Must have welding experience with materials including carbon, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be highly experienced in measuring parts using a tape measure, calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills.

• Working environment is in an industrial setting that is non-climate controlled.
• Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., or similar actives for extended periods of time.
• Must have Mechanical experience, experience using hand tools for assembly of components.
• Capable of fixture design and setup a plus.
• Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is a plus.

Mansioni

• Supervise over 20 team members on 2nd shift in multiple departments with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Production.
• Read tape measure to the 1/16th of 1 inch.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Use various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and welding machines.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform quality inspections and follow ISO guidelines for product traceability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Keep accurate records of production output.
