Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Georgia is seeking a Second-Shift Fabrication Supervisor to oversee all production operations in a busy metal fabrication shop. You will lead teams across CNC, press brake, laser cutting, welding and assembly, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality output.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in metal fabrication, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, and a proven ability to train and develop staff, read blueprints, and maintain strict quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Hands-on with metal fabrication: CNC, press brake, laser, welding, and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings; strong quality assurance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate second-shift fabrication teams across CNC, press brake, laser, welding and assembly.
• Monitor workflow, production schedules, and daily output to meet targets.
• Train, coach, and mentor fabrication personnel to improve safety and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and first-shift leadership to ensure smooth shift-to-shift transitions.
