Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Welding Machine Operator on the 2nd Shift at the Ocala plant. You will operate welding equipment to join metal spans, following blueprints, specs, and engineering drawings to uphold quality standards.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work well in a team. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Hi-Lo certification and 1 year of manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate welding machinery and follow production instructions.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork required.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding machine to join metal spans in fabrication.
• Sets up and operates related equipment (drill presses, saws, grinders, NC equipment).
• Follows blueprints, specs, and engineer drawings to weld accurately.
• Uses hand/power tools to shape, cut, and finish metal
• May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment.
