Job summary

The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking a Coil Loader and Forklift Operator for the Ocala, FL plant. You will work on 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am) Monday through Friday, performing coil loading, machine setup, and related packing tasks with a focus on safety and quality.

Expect some overtime and the need to follow all procedures while maintaining productivity. Responsibilities include operating equipment, restocking coils, and ensuring materials meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred; will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
• Uses a machine operated welder to create continuity between new and (WIP) product.
• Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units.
• Uses forklift/ overhead crane to restock metal coils.
• Monitors proficiency of machine performance and ensures continuity in the manufacturing process and quality.
• Completes low level maintenance to ensure machine capability.
• Takes measurements of material to ensure specification.
