Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Welding Machine Operator on the 2nd Shift at the Ocala plant. You will operate welding equipment to join metal spans, following blueprints, specs, and engineering drawings to uphold quality standards.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work well in a team. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Hi-Lo certification and 1 year of manufacturing experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding machine to join metal spans in fabrication.
• Sets up and operates related equipment (drill presses, saws, grinders, NC equipment).
• Follows blueprints, specs, and engineer drawings to weld accurately.
• Uses hand/power tools to shape, cut, and finish metal
• May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment.

We are seeking a Welding Machine Operator on 2nd Shift to join our team at the Ocala FL plant!

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday * Possible OT Saturdays*

Shift: 2nd- 3:30pm-12:00am

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 + $1.00 Shift Differential

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Operates welding machine in order to join metal spans in metal fabrication process
• May set up and operate machines such as drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, bending rolls, brakes, grinders, and numerical control equipment to shape and alter metal according to specifications.
• Follows blueprints, customer specifications, rough sketches, or engineer drawings to shape mend, weld metal accurately.
• Uses hand and power tools to shape, cut, and smooth metal and to blend seams.
• May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended period

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred must be trained and certified on the hilo.
• (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
