Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Machine operator experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding machine to join metal spans per specifications.
• May set up machines like drill presses, saws, and shears to shape metal.
• Follows blueprints and drawings to weld metal accurately.
• Uses hand and power tools to finish welds and smooth seams.
• May operate soldering and welding equipment as needed.
• Spot welds milled steel and stainless steel.
• Welds in vertical and horizontal planes; ensures square up of components.
• Meets goals and shows up on time for shifts and meetings.
• Interacts professionally with team members and other departments.
• Operates a forklift safely and stacks finished material.
