Eaton Corporation is seeking a Painter for the 2nd shift (Transformers) in Wisconsin. The role offers a base hourly rate of $26.20 plus a $2.50 shift premium and a 3 pm–11 pm schedule. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two installments, with conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous spray-painting experience.
• Minimum of six (6) months previous manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
• No relocation is offered for this position. Candidate must currently reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the proper preparation of all surfaces to be sprayed; this includes bare metal areas and the proper sanding, feather edging of previously painted surfaces.
• Check the Bills of Material for correct color and specified mil thickness.
• Adjust and periodically check all pump pressures, heater temperatures, air and fluid pressures to maintain the best possible spraying application condition.
• Change filters and maintain cleanliness of spray booth associates floor areas on a scheduled basis.
• Use crane to move units into spray booth and use crane to store repainted units in staging area for inspection.
• Cross train and perform duties in other work areas of the team.
