Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial metal fabrication including GMAW, GTAW, FCAW and SMAW.
• Minimum of 1 year experience reading blueprints and performing fit-up.
• Ability to operate welding machines and basic QA checks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings.
• Identify parts using cut lists and shop drawings.
• Fit-up and assemble parts.
• Measure, square, string line and level work.
• Set up and operate welding equipment.
• Weld, grind and cut.
• Verify quality assurance and basic inspection.
• Move materials using overhead crane, rigging equipment and forklift.
• Perform general labor and basic quality assurance.
