Greiner Industries in Mount Joy, PA is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fitter with 2+ years of structural and sheet metal fabrication/welding experience. You will read blueprints, lay out and assemble components, and perform various welding processes on heavy structures.

The role includes working at heights, using measurement tools, and following procedures to ensure quality welds and accurate fabrication. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of structural and sheet metal fabrication/welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings and use tape measures.
• Work at heights on platforms, ladders, and possibly scissor lifts.
• Proficiency in FCAW, GMAW, SMAW welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, shop sketches, and work orders.
• Lay out, fit, position, align, and assemble structural steel components and fabricated products.
• Perform FCAW, GMAW, SMAW welding per procedures and inspect weld quality.
• Fabricate and weld columns, beams, girders, platforms, stairs, railings, and other steel structures.
