JCB Inc. in Pooler, GA is seeking an experienced Welder to perform advanced welding and fabrication for skid steers and heavy equipment. The role runs on the second shift, 4:00PM – 2:30AM, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will ensure high-quality welds and strict adherence to safety and production standards. The position requires 3+ years of welding/fabrication, MIG/SMAW/TIG skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of welding and fabrication in manufacturing.
• Experience with MIG welding (GMAW) and high-quality welds.
• Able to pass welding tests and pre-employment requirements (drug screen, background, etc.).
• Able to pass drug screening and background checks.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced welding operations (MIG, SMAW, TIG as needed).
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery.
• Perform fabrication tasks: fitting, grinding, cutting, preparing materials.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance.
• Operate material handling equipment for loading/unloading.
• Maintain 5S compliant, organized work area and safety practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects; support CI initiatives.
