JPS Composite Materials in Anderson, SC is seeking a loom weaver to produce first quality fabric while maintaining accurate records. You will start looms, repair yarn breaks, inspect for defects, and flag issues to the technical team.

You will also manage bobbin changes, labeling, and adherence to ISO standards in daily workflows. Candidates must handle production stress with urgency, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with management to sustain efficiency and quality across the fabric production

Qualifications

• Experience operating looms and weaving first quality fabric.
• Ability to document defects and malfunctions according to ISO standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a production environment.
• Good communication with team and management.
• Follows safety procedures and quality controls.

Responsabilités

• Weave first quality fabric on assigned looms.
• Start looms and repair yarn breaks as needed.
• Inspect and flag looms for defects during production.
• Change yarn bobbins when they run out and label identifications.
• Remove non-conforming yarn using a reject bobbin sticker.
• Maintain warp back and filling maintenance.
• Maintain all records according to ISO standards.
• Communicate with maintenance and technical teams.
