Job summary

Thompson First Group in Anderson, SC is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for a local client. The Weaver will operate looms, repair yarn breaks, document defects, and ensure production runs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include starting looms, inspecting for defects, replacing yarn bobbins, and maintaining ISO-compliant records. Candidates should have HS diploma and 0-3 years of experience, plus basic computer skills, and be able to work on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 0-3 years experience.
• Good working knowledge of computer skills.
• Weaver candidate must pass a weaver end draw and splice test.
• Weavers must train on 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Weaving first quality fabric.
• Must be able to prioritize.
• Must be able to handle the stress of a production environment.
• Must work with a sense of urgency.
• Starting looms, repairing yarn breaks, and filling changes while maintaining efficiency standard.
• Constant patrolling, inspections, and flagging defects
• Maintaining warp back and filling maintenance
• Maintain all records according to ISO standards
• Only Supply Issued reed hooks will be used
