Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for a local client in Anderson, SC. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply.

Position Summary:

While working safely, the weaver will produce first quality fabric, documenting all defects and malfunctions on the loom maintenance technician card. Each weaver is assigned a set of looms to operate efficiently. Duties and responsibilities include starting looms, repairing yarn breaks, inspecting, flagging looms for defects, and constantly cycling warp alleys. Other responsibilities include changing yarn bobbins when they run out, making sure the bobbin has an identification label, and removing any non-conforming yarn, using a reject bobbin sticker. Maintains open communication with other weavers, management, and technical team. Maintains all records according to ISO standards.
