Job summary

Core-Mark International in Springfield, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee daily warehouse operations and manage a team of warehouse associates. You will ensure accurate inventory handling and timely order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety practices, and experience with warehouse management software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse operations experience.
• Experience leading and supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products for the assigned production shift.
• Supervises warehouse associates including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities and perform their duties effectively.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift; ensures all orders are loaded in proper stop sequence and completes paperwork.
• Ensures product received during the shift is stocked properly with FIFO rotation.
• Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic and ensures associates meet customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management systems and technologies to maximize productivity.
• Manages building security and safety procedures after shift as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
